Privacy Policy

Effective from: 14 October 2026
Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Seren Haus collects, why we collect it, and your rights. Seren Haus is run by Chloe Abbott trading as Seren Haus, who is the data controller for your information. If you have any questions, email enquiries@serenhaus.co.uk or call 07511 719042.

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
  • Booking details: the treatments you book, appointment dates and times, and any notes you give us.
  • Health information: your medical history, medications, allergies and previous treatments from your medical and consultation forms.
  • Treatment records: notes about the treatments you receive and, only with your consent, before and after photographs.
  • Payment details: what you paid, when and how. Card and Klarna payments are handled by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card number.
  • Website information: cookies, as explained in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

  • To take and manage your bookings, send confirmations and reminders, and take payment (to carry out our agreement with you).
  • To check treatments are safe and suitable for you and to keep proper treatment records. Health information is special category data, and we use it only to provide your care, with your explicit consent given on your medical form.
  • To keep business and tax records (a legal obligation).
  • To send you aftercare information, review requests and rebooking reminders about treatments you have had (our legitimate interest). You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your information, and we never share your photographs publicly without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share what is needed with the services that help us run the business: our website host, our payment providers (Stripe, WooPayments and Klarna), our bank for bank transfers, and our email provider. Each must keep your information secure. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep treatment and medical records for 8 years after your last treatment, in line with guidance for clinical records. Payment and business records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes. If you have an account but have never had a treatment, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it or limit how we use it, object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Some records may need to be kept for legal or safety reasons, and we will explain if so. To make a request, email enquiries@serenhaus.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
